Artist
Margeaux Miller was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois. Margeaux is a multimedia artist whose work includes both digital and traditional methods, often incorporating a collage-based process, iconography, and impressionistic motifs. Her art practice is often a meditative experience and explores the artist’s ability to externalize anxious thoughts or feelings. Through exploring her own internal emotions and anxieties, Margeaux reexamines and translates them into her physical works through surrealist-inspired and experimental mediums. The creative process is a compulsory, habitual practice for the artist, serving as an outlet for self-expression and exploration. Margeaux is set to complete their B.A. in May 2024 at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where they have exhibited their works at Gallery 217 in several juried exhibitions as well as the 13th Senior Exhibition. Margeaux completed the internship program with the Marketing Department at NSU Art Museum and continues to work and create as a freelance graphic designer, photographer, and mixed media artist.
