Multidisciplinary Artist
Hello beautiful souls, I’m Kayla Lieras. I’m a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and spiritual practitioner based in Los Angeles. My work moves through photography, poetry, printmaking, spellcraft, spiritual storytelling, performance, zine creation, & more I don’t stick to one medium whatever helps me express the truth of what I’m feeling, I lean into it.
I grew up in spaces where I had to teach myself how to feel safe, how to hold my own softness. Art and spirit became my lifelines. That upbringing shaped me, my work is raw, emotional, intuitive, and sometimes gritty. I create from a place of deep witnessing and transformation. Whether I’m behind the lens, carving a lino block, crafting a spell, or writing a poem, I’m
speaking my truth and truths I’ve carried for others.
A lot of what I make touches on themes of tenderness, identity, survival, grief, healing and becoming. There’s always a spiritual current running through it. I don’t separate the sacred from the personal, my art is my altar. My body, my voice, my stories, they’re all part of the ritual.
I create to heal. I create to remember. I create to make sure the ones who feel too much know they’re not alone.
