Dharma Lemon (she/her) is a writer and teaching artist from Los Angeles. Dharma has performed and taught workshops at UCLA, CAAM, and The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. She has performed at Fire Drill Fridays with celebrity activists like Jane Fonda, Joaquin Phoenix, Rainn Wilson, and many others. She has also performed in “Artists for Amazonia ” with Kali Uchis, Barbara Streisand, Morgan Freeman, among others. Lemon has been published in GLAFF’s book titled “Bridges”, performed in the closing ceremony of GLAFF for the last three years hosting a woman fronted film organizations annual Gala. One of her favorite moments working with GLAFF was presenting a “Tree of Life award” to Patricia Aquette. Dharma will never stop teaching. It is her number one passion and she has found fulfillment in seeing her students growth. She has mentored the past 3 winners of CA youth Poet Laureate . She has also personally trained 15+ LA youth Poet Laureate Finalists over the past 3 years. It is the most rewarding feeling seeing students fufill their goals and surprise themselves with their talents.
