Kelly Blake

Comedian, Musician

Kelly is a comedian, musician, and educator based in Miami, Florida. Her work is grounded in a desire to promote community and remind us of what we have in common. She uses her passion for comedy, music, and history to explore how life is a collective experience and how storytelling can bring people closer to themselves and each other.

Originally from Kissimmee, Florida, Kelly studied at Florida State University and has lived in Miami for nearly five years. Guided by her Puerto Rican heritage and her experiences as a queer woman, her comedy draws on cultural references, family dynamics, and lived experiences that feel both specific and familiar.

In addition to her creative work, Kelly teaches multiple instruments at School of Rock, where she helps students build confidence, develop their artistic identity, and find joy in creative expression. She also leads educational tours for Miami-Dade students through Dade Heritage Trust’s Historical Places, Green Spaces program, using history and place-based storytelling to connect young people to their communities.

Kelly performs comedy throughout South Florida and is a member of the Miami Sound Choir, where she continues to explore community through music and collaboration.
