Maureen Zeufack is a Cameroonian-American writer-producer and creative multi-hyphenate from the DC metro area, raised on Motown and Makossa. She notably scripted and produced the GEMA-award-nominated 2024 BET Awards marketing campaign, “Standing On Culture.” She has written and directed two short films, “Toqué” (a culture clash romantic comedy following a West African engagement ceremony), and “Puzzles & Pinot.” She was a producer on the forthcoming independent TV pilot, “Book Club.” Maureen’s professional background ranges from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to reporting on New York Fashion Week as a journalist. Maureen has graced stages including Upright Citizens Brigade NYC as a sketch comedy writer and performer, and most recently was a fellow in the Geffen Playhouse’s Storytelling Workshop for Young Adults, where she penned the one-act play, “The Baobab.” Maureen’s screenplay “Collected” won NYU’s 2026 Fusion Film Festival half-hour pilot competition. Maureen is an MFA candidate in USC’s Peter Stark Producing Program and holds an honors Bachelor’s in Media, Culture, and Communication from NYU.
