Photographer
CJ Calica (she/her) is a Filipino photographer, artist, and community organizer based in Los Angeles. Her work explores themes of memory, identity, family, and belonging through photography, wheat pasting, textiles, and mixed media. Influenced by her experiences in environmental justice, cultural spaces, and community organizing, she uses storytelling as a tool for preservation, connection, and collective care. Through her work, she documents and celebrates the people, histories, and everyday moments that shape communities across Los Angeles and beyond.
