Cindy J. Xie is an environmental health researcher and storyteller, born and currently based in Los Angeles. She received her master’s degree from the MIT Department of Urban Studies & Planning and has worked in Cabo Verde, the Philippines, and Brazil, investigating the impacts of global environmental change on human health. Her poems have been published in Sine Theta Magazine, Anthroposphere Magazine, Climate Storytelling 2075, and MassPoetry, as well as displayed at Boston City Hall and the Queens Council on the Arts.
