Dani Ferreira Amaro is a professional vocalist, composer, and performer. Dani is an alumni of the National YoungArts program in Jazz Voice, and holds a passion for musical improvisation and multi-disciplinary collaboration with over 9 years of experience. In contributing to Miami’s local music scene, they tour the city’s various venues and festivals, often engaging in collaborations with instrumentalists, dancers, and visual artists through an improvisational lens. Dani has performed original works at The Highline in New York, and local establishments such as the Perez Art Museum, The Colony Theater, The Youngarts Jewel Box, and IIIPOINTS Arts & Technology festival in Miami, FL. They are a first generation American of Brazilian and Cuban background, fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. In utilizing music as a vehicle for communication, they are able to understand the world around them and give voice to one’s often unutterable, yet universal internal dialogue of emotions.
