Day 41: Janith Prabashwara Perera

Mulleriyawa

Poetry has the power to embrace the hearts of the audience. Haiku poems use an economy of words to give a deeper level of meaning. This Peace Offering attempts to present thoughts, ideas, concepts, and food-for-thought that can inspire the readers to embrace peace and non-violence into their day-to-day activities and lifestyle and advocate for world peace and harmony. The poems could be published on social media as well as in an anthology. The poems could be used specifically in future training as ice-breakers and introductory thoughts that can initiate dialogue and discussion.
