Day 90: Lina Abojaradeh

Jordan

We wear masks to protect ourselves, and yet there is no mask to protect us against diseases that we can’t see tangibly but that affect people all around the world… Supremacy, racism, greed, war, xenophobia are all diseases that we should work to eradicate from our communities. I decided to do a salt portrait of a child’s face – a child that represents human kind’s vulnerability. I then draw the world map on his face, symbolizing the fact that this child represents all of us. We are in this together.
