Day 98: Peace First

Stephanie Valencia

California, United States

These art pieces were inspired by the Black Lives Matter Movement. We cannot have peace while racist systems are being built and upheld by those with privilege. The art is a call to awareness and action. It is up to us to band together and create an equitable society and advocate for all oppressed demographics.

Stephanie Valencia is a director of programming for Social Justice Sewing Academy that includes planning and scheduling workshops, exhibitions and more.
