De’ya Seoul is a mother, trailblazer, and Virginia-bred multi-creative artist, she is also a dancer/choreographer, songstress, and mentor. At a young age, De’ya performed in talent shows, pageants, and competitions, earning recognition as a triple threat. Despite experiencing severe bullying and racism in her upbrining due to her ethnic background as a young Afro Korean girl, she learned what it meant to appreciate the uniqueness of each individual. To cope she turned to movement and words as means of self-expression and healing. De’ya is a graduate of American Musical Dramatic Academy and Degree in Dance theater Arts. Today, she holds extensive workshops, dance classes, involved with a wellness & trauma informed approach with young children, adolescents, & families.
