My name is Kanoa Johnson, I am 26 years old from Los Angeles, California. I am an illustrator, graphic designer, founder of The Free One Collective, and a current MBA student. My creative expression takes inspiration from anime, Japanese aesthetics, and my love for fashion and philosophy, all encapsulated through a retro futurist lens. This brand is the representation of how I view the world, with vibrancy, richness, and storytelling, and despite the chaos, the belief that standing in our light is a choice. That there is a Free One in all of us to be everything we are meant to be. The Free One Collective is the fullest expression of my own philosophy and my aim is to build a brand ecosystem that creates a space of nostalgia, empowerment, and inspiration for everyone it is meant to resonate with.
