Community Organizer, Writer and Educator

Luanna Peterson is the Co-Founder of Weaving Our Stories. She is an advocate for self-determination, a longtime community organizer, writer, curriculum developer, and educator. Presently, she works for Mothering Justice,  a grassroots policy advocacy organization that provides mothers of color with the resources and tools to use their power to make equitable changes in policy. She is excited by the possibility of bringing her creative voice and lived experiences to the work that will inspire our community at this crucial time for humanity. Please look out for Weaving Our Stories’ Spring Resistance Anthology in 2023, edited by and with contributions from Luanna Peterson and BIPOC authors worldwide. This anthology will be published by Savant Books and Publications.
