Dancer, Choreographer, and Educator
Nicole Pedraza is a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator born and raised in Miami, FL. After graduating from New World School of the Arts (NWSA) high school dance program in 2018, Nicole continued her studies, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2021. She has performed works by Ohad Naharin, Jennifer Archibald, Robert Battle, Paul Taylor and Ronald K. Brown. Upon graduation, Nicole was invited to be a part of Miami DanceMakers 2021, a dance initiative supporting local female choreographers by Adele Myers and Dancers. Through Miami DanceMakers, Nicole created “Echoes Within Myself”, a contemporary duet exploring the journey towards discovering and understanding one’s identity as women of color. Nicole is currently a dance instructor at South Florida Ballet, a company member of Peter London Global Dance Company, and the Education and Outreach Coordinator at South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center.
