Writer
Nicole Viloria is a Venezuelan and queer writer, who recently graduated from The Honors College at Miami Dade College with an AA in English literature. As someone who struggled understanding and accepting herself, she wishes to write poetry, novels, and scripts featuring queer and Latinx characters so individuals like her can see themselves represented. She has been published at Padrón Campus’ Digital Commons, Urbana Literary & Arts Magazine, inclusiveWe, and O,Miami. She weekly tutors English to a Ukrainian student through the ENGin Program and trains new volunteers to do the same. She was the co-editor-in-chief of Urbana Literary & Arts Magazine’s Volume 16 and the president of Gamma Eta, the chapter of Sigma Kappa Delta English Honor Society on her campus. She will transfer to Yale University in the fall to accomplish her dreams.
