Ogechi Onyenechehe is a Nigerian American filmmaker based in Mid City, LA. At the Ghetto Film School, as a fellow student, she was the first assistant director for two thesis productions: Los Angeles Space Thesis Film, Algorithm (2021) and the Iceland Thesis Film, Stronger (2022). Most recently, she has worked with Beats By Dre, has a short film exhibited at the Academy Museum of Motion Picture, and captured behind-the-scenes footage for the 2023 NBA All-Star x HBCU Weekend. Onyenechehe’s goal is to become an impactful film and television producer, amplifying and telling stories of her Nigerian culture, as well as bringing a light to people’s different backgrounds and cultures.
