Wellbeing & Community Engagement Project Manager
Sophia is a Senior Associate Project Manager at EY, working on wellbeing and community engagement strategy and programs. Prior to joining EY, she received her MSc in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and spent years producing research at the intersection of embodied neuroscience and the arts. From 2012-2016, she collaborated with National Ballet School of Canada, the Mark Morris Dance Group, and Baycrest Health Sciences to study the effects of dance on neurodegenerative diseases (Parkinson’s disease and dementia) and from 2016-2018, she worked at NYU Langone Hospital, studying the neurological effects of mindful breathing techniques and creative movement in people with MS, TBI, and CVA. Sophia is passionate about exploring innovative pathways for promoting wellbeing and optimal performance—through artistic and neuroscientific inquiry—and she is committed to applying these discoveries in novel, empirically sound ways.
